This is the map for the WALK. It will start in Galveston, Texas, from where my husband and I will drive to New Orleans, practicing the skills and schedules for the official walk. Hopefully, on March 16 I will begin walking on Route 11 just east of New Orleans.
Between March 8, 2009, and the date in the summer or fall when the walk is completed, you will find me somewhere along this path. I'm hoping others will be with me - ideally there would be so many of us that everyone would know where we were because we would draw so much attention. Attention to the challenge of Climate Change. Please contact me if you would be interested in joining me for a day, a month, or the whole WALK.
